Modern technology reveals ancient potters' fingerprints on Evansville Museum's Roman lamps


A high-resolution 3-D model of three ancient Roman slipper lamps, dating back to the first several centuries of the common era, made clear what was difficult for the naked eye to see: potters' fingerprints pressed into the clay.
